L168 - Butterfly Pleco

The L168 is an omnivore that will eat most foods. They are also a master of disguise and can change colour quickly like a chameleon. On a dark substrate they will be nearly black but on a lighter or no substrate they will be lighter with a striped pattern. They also have a different body shape to most plecos and are a lot wider looking from above and a lot flatter this is especially seen in adults.

Always enjoys higher protein foods such as frozen bloodworms, brineshrimp and sinking pellets. Will also eat fresh vegetables like zucchini, cucumber and others. We also feed lots of Repashy Super Green / Morning Wood 2/1 Ratio. Bottom Scratcher or Grub Pie / Spawn & Grow 50/50 mix.
